The Division consists of three board and
sub-board certified specialists and its scope of care includes
infants, children, and adolescents with digestive and
nutritional disorders and diseases of the liver, biliary tract,
and pancreas.
The GI Division operates satellite offices in
Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Denbigh, and Franktown on the
Eastern Shore and makes monthly visits to St. Mary's Infant Home
for disabled children.
A total of 655 diagnostic and therapeutic
procedures were performed during the year. A breakdown is as
