General Academic Pediatrics

Mission Statement

We, the physicians (and staff) of the Division of General Academic Pediatric Medicine at Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters, take pride in providing an exemplary medical home to all children with a passionate commitment to the underserved and medically complex child.

Our primary goal is to provide expert outpatient and inpatient clinical care which addresses the physical, emotional, educational, and social needs of our children and their families.

We strive to show excellence as academic and clinical teachers, while mentoring residents, medical students, and students of other health care disciplines.

The leadership and research skills we provide in professional organizations on a local, state and national level, as well as our community service, challenges us to provide the best pediatric healthcare now and in the future.
