Psychology

Services provided by the Division of Psychology include pediatric outpatient/inpatient evaluation, behavioral assessment and intervention (cognitive/behavioral, individual/family psychotherapy).  Services are provided to the pediatric population (outpatient 90% inpatient 10%) and their families.  Chronic illness (e.g. cystic fibrosis, AIDS, sickle cell, cancer, diabetes, asthma) are also treated.  Approximately 40 outpatients and 1 inpatient are seen per week. Pediatric residents provide services under direct supervision and receive personalized feedback.  Residents and nurses are provided with protocols for behavioral modification on hospital floors.
