Rheumatology

The pediatric rheumatologist provides outpatient and inpatient services for children suffering from juvenile rheumatoid arthriitis, systemic lupus erythematosus and a wide range of related disorders. In addition, evaluation and management of patients with soft tissue rheumatism (fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue), sports injuries, over-use syndromes, chronic and recurrent musculoskeletal pain syndrome are provided. Ancillary services such as psychology, OT/PT, social work and nutrition help optimize patients' health and functional status.
